Arne Andberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaf Boström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Staffan Karlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pirro Gutierrez in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Fortuna Grimsta IF got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Zedi. 16 minutes into the match, Fortuna Grimsta IF's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Mikaelsson came free, but Staffan Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Boström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Andberg having to interfere. Fortuna Grimsta IF's Leandro Zedi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teo Thomas in the 23 minute of the game. Arne Andberg made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Georg Ekelund sent off a good shot on target. Staffan Karlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Mikaelsson in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Fortuna Grimsta IF's goal looked a bit too open when Pirro Gutierrez came free, but Staffan Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OTAB UA's Arne Andberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Boström in the 37th minute of play. Arne Andberg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fortuna Grimsta IF's Gustaf Boström shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Fortuna Grimsta IF's Michael Laudrup got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Lars Hammarberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Karlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jan-Ove Sander made the kick off in the second half. Staffan Karlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Mikaelsson in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Ove Sander got free with Staffan Karlstedt in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne Andberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaf Boström's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Fortuna Grimsta IF's Georg Ekelund got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Frank Mikaelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Karlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staffan Karlstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Ove Sander in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Boström in the 67th minute of play forced OTAB UA's goalkeeper Arne Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Karlstedt came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by OTAB UA's Jan-Ove Sander. But to his dismay, Jan-Ove Sander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 72 minutes into the match, Fortuna Grimsta IF's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Brun came free, but Staffan Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Börje Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Karlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes, Jan-Ove Sander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OTAB UA and the Fortuna Grimsta IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 minutes of play, OTAB UA's Ove Bergdal made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Staffan Karlstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fortuna Grimsta IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while OTAB UA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
