With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexis Vincenti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, DSK Dalir's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Friberger came free, but Jens-Erik Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Morris FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Vestlund came free, but Alexis Vincenti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute DSK Dalir were awarded a corner. Jim Sundström went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jim Sundström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Morris FC's Alexis Vincenti did a great save. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 36th minute, when DSK Dalir's Jim Sundström after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Alexis Vincenti in Morris FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Jens-Erik Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Alexis Vincenti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Vestlund in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morris FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jim Sundström was slow to take the kick. During this time DSK Dalir's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Morris FC's goalie and right to Kenneth Mårtensson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Morris FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Friberger to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Charles Friberger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morris FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Friberger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Leif Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Mårtensson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Alexis Vincenti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Alexis Vincenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Söderström in the 65th minute of the match. Jens-Erik Forsberg made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Per-Oskar Eklund sent off a good shot on target. Charles Friberger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jens-Erik Forsberg made a huge save.
