The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Apolo Urritz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ermegildo Ugaitz. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Apolo Urritz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermegildo Ugaitz. Basten United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Urritz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Blåränderna getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Thomas Ommen hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Blåränderna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calle Beck to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Urritz had several of the Basten United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Ermegildo Ugaitz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ermegildo Ugaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Urritz in the 19th minute of play. Basten United's Ermegildo Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Urritz in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Apolo Urritz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ermegildo Ugaitz. The goal made the score 4-0. When Per-Erik Öberg came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Blåränderna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Öberg couldn't finish the play. Basten United's Ermegildo Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Urritz in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Blåränderna's Hasso Huber got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Apolo Urritz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ermegildo Ugaitz. Apolo Urritz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. When Blåränderna's Apolo Urritz in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalle Jonsson during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Blåränderna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Ermegildo Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Aaangel, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ermegildo Ugaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Öberg in the 85th minute of play. Kalle Jonsson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
