After a rather tough play, Orten Boys's Agne Fogel got a free kick in the 17th minute. Orten Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Gottfrid Pihlblad scored to the left of an out of position Günther Wienhold, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Andberg in the 24th minute of play forced FC Valkyria's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Ledochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Bergqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Günther Wienhold made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gottfrid Pihlblad to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes FC Valkyria got a freekick which was hit by Göran Bergqvist. Emil Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Günther Wienhold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Bergqvist in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Agne Fogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Emil Andberg came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Orten Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Andberg couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute of the match, Emil Andberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zdzislaw Ledochowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Andberg in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdzislaw Ledochowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Günther Wienhold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Dahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gottfrid Pihlblad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Günther Wienhold was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 90 minutes in the game, Rune Dahlquist dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 92 played minutes Orten Boys got a freekick which was hit by Agne Fogel. If Göran Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Valkyria fans cheered their team off the field, for while Orten Boys had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
