After 21 played minutes Björnlunda IF got a freekick which was hit by Uno Sigfridsson. The supporters of FC Valkyria booed when Björnlunda IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uno Sigfridsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes FC Valkyria got a freekick which was hit by Rune Dahlquist. Daniel Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Ledochowski having to interfere. A collision led to Björnlunda IF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mats Rubarth hit a great ball. Göran Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Rubarth might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zdzislaw Ledochowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mats Rubarth ran back to his position shaking his head. If Rune Dahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Olofsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Bergqvist in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Bergqvist got free with Eric Olofsson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Björnlunda IF's Eric Olofsson got control of the ball when Göran Bergqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Uno Sigfridsson kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Eric Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Björnlunda IF booed when FC Valkyria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Rubarth in the 54th minute of play forced FC Valkyria's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Ledochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, FC Valkyria's Rune Dahlquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Olofsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 64th minute Vilhelm Ekeberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malte Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. A collision led to FC Valkyria getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jan-Åke Holmberg hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Malte Danielsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Dahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Dahlquist took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Olofsson. Eric Olofsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Gottfrid Pihlblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Samuel Kielstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Björnlunda IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Valkyria the free kick. FC Valkyria walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
