The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Uno Strömqvist took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Boris Snäll to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, CD Calle Gimena's Albin Eliasson got a free kick in the 9th minute. Anders Bogren hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Vidar Kihlman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Durlabha Burlaka skillfully saved the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Erling Bocklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Durlabha Burlaka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, CD Calle Gimena's Uno Strömqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the last second Boris Snäll throw himself and got hold of the ball when Uno Strömqvist in the 32ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Boris Snäll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uno Strömqvist in the 34th minute of play. Durlabha Burlaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Kaxe in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Uno Strömqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boris Snäll. Uno Strömqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, Jävrebyn's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Strömqvist came free, but Boris Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Snäll made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Uno Strömqvist sent off a good shot on target.

Emil Skog in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Durlabha Burlaka, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Durlabha Burlaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Bocklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uno Strömqvist in the 56th minute of play forced Jävrebyn's goalkeeper Boris Snäll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boris Snäll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Kurt Bjurström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD Calle Gimena's Klas McNamara was substituted for Uno Strömqvist. 78 minutes into the match, Jävrebyn's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Arne Beck came free, but Boris Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Snäll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jävrebyn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
