Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Sá in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Arne Björkman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th match minute, Snubbinhoz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Appelgren to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torbjörn Uggla to make the kick off. The Snubbinhoz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Göran Jonasson took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Stig-Arne Björkman to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Blomstermåla IF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
