Åke Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higino Jordão in the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higino Jordão in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Åke Norberg saved Gbg United from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gbg United's Birger Söderberg got a free kick in the 27th minute. Boris Billvall charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Billvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Boris Billvall kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, FcÖrebroWin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olle Ström to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gbg United booed when FcÖrebroWin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Kvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 80th minute, one of FcÖrebroWin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FcÖrebroWin. 87 minutes into the game, one of Gbg United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Higino Jordão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Andy Askelöf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FcÖrebroWin and the Gbg United players grew even worse after the yellow card.
