Manfred Samuelsson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Al-Tåga's Eilif Heldrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Gustavsson in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Al-Tåga's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Gustavsson came free, but Eilif Heldrup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Magnus Bock put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eilif Heldrup. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Sven-Olof Berg put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Dulwich Hamlet BK booed when Al-Tåga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eilif Heldrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Bock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Turi Toppinen took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eilif Heldrup. Eilif Heldrup dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Dulwich Hamlet BK's goalkeeper Aivo Pärjasaar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Gullesson. After 31 minutes Dulwich Hamlet BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was John Karlstedt who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Al-Tåga defense, Sten Røiland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eilif Heldrup. The Al-Tåga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eilif Heldrup should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Björn Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilif Heldrup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eilif Heldrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turi Toppinen in the 39th minute of play. Lukas Hamnberg made a great header on Dulwich Hamlet BK's corner, it was just that Al-Tåga's Eilif Heldrup managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Magnus Bock to make the kick off. Eilif Heldrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Bock in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute Evert Gullesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivo Pärjasaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turi Toppinen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Al-Tåga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Magnus Bock 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. A collision led to Al-Tåga getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Firdaus Permana hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Björn Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilif Heldrup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Dulwich Hamlet BK's Magnus Bock dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Vinström in the 76th minute of play forced Dulwich Hamlet BK's goalkeeper Aivo Pärjasaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Tillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aivo Pärjasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Sten Røiland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dulwich Hamlet BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Røiland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Al-Tåga's Eilif Heldrup proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Al-Tåga from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the game, Dulwich Hamlet BK's Alexander Christoffersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eilif Heldrup made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The Al-Tåga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dulwich Hamlet BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
