With a little luck, Arye Suryoye's Kenneth Käcker got control of the ball when Allan Kilstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Nordlander in the 10th minute of play forced Arye Suryoye's goalkeeper Kenneth Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frogner were furious when Helge Melin was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 13 played minutes Frogner got a freekick which was hit by Helge Melin. After a defensive mix-up in Frogner's zone, Norberto Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixten Dahlgren came out of the goal and Norberto Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arye Suryoye's Kenneth Käcker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Arye Suryoye from getting a goal against them. When Gustavo Scarpa fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arye Suryoye's protests and gave Gustavo Scarpa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Gustavo Scarpa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Arye Suryoye fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Arye Suryoye's Valdemar Beckeman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sixten Dahlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Rydberg in the 33rd minute of the match. Kenneth Käcker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Gunnarsson in the 36th minute of the match. After 37 minutes Arye Suryoye's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tony Hallgren who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tony Hallgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arye Suryoye's Kenneth Käcker did a great save. Ola Rydberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sixten Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Kenneth Käcker managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Frogner's Dag Nordlander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dag Nordlander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Östen Gunnarsson to make the kick off. A collision led to Arye Suryoye getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Valdemar Beckeman hit a great ball. Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Beckeman in the 55th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Egil Blom threw the ball into play from the sideline. Arye Suryoye's Gustavo Scarpa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With his leg Sixten Dahlgren managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Arye Suryoye's Valdemar Beckeman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dag Nordlander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Käcker having to interfere. Frogner made a substitution. Adrian Sikström replaced Allan Kilstedt. The crowd rose to their feet as Arye Suryoye's Ola Rydberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sixten Dahlgren. That made the score 0-4 after 78 minutes of play. Ola Rydberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Dahlgren having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Valdemar Beckeman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Egil Blom with Ivar Carlberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The Frogner supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arye Suryoye's performance. The match ended with a win for Arye Suryoye.
