Bo Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paquito Navarro in the 24th minute of play. Butet Rahwana lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Kosta getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Kjell Bergqvist hit a great ball. Uno Kuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Bergvall in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willem-Jan Woldersgaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kurt Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Uno Kuse made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Nyman got free with Uno Kuse in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Yacht Club getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tommy Lindkvist hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Yacht Club's goalkeeper Uno Kuse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Bergvall. With a little luck, Yacht Club's Uno Kuse got control of the ball when Ove Bergvall tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 70 minutes, Kjell Bergqvist made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yacht Club's Uno Kuse tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Uno Kuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Bergqvist in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Yacht Club defense, Ove Bergvall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uno Kuse. The Yacht Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uno Kuse should have stopped the shot. Ove Bergvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
