Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgar Pettersson started the match with the kick off. Fåker IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Edgar Pettersson scored to the left of an out of position Sven-Åke Botvidsson, making the score, 1-0. Hans-Werner Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hinko Beerman in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Axel Bäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Pettersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Åke Botvidsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Pettersson ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Fåker IFK's Sven-Åke Botvidsson got control of the ball when Edgar Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fåker IFK's Sven-Åke Botvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Pettersson in the 13th minute of play. Hans-Werner Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Bodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hinko Beerman scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans-Werner Hansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sven-Åke Botvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edgar Pettersson came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Frosta Härad IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Pettersson couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Edgar Pettersson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hans-Werner Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Pettersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Pettersson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Sven-Åke Botvidsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sven-Åke Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Pettersson in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hinko Beerman to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Pettersson in the 58th minute of play forced Fåker IFK's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Botvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Frosta Härad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Bäck to maneuver through the defense. Axel Bäck hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Hans-Werner Hansson came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fåker IFK's Boris Bodin. But to his dismay, Boris Bodin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 67th match minute, Fåker IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Myr to maneuver through the defense. Frosta Härad IF's Valdemar Wallin was substituted for Amanda Ingesson. After 68 played minutes Fåker IFK got a freekick which was hit by Lars Myr. If Hinko Beerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Frosta Härad IF's goalkeeper Hans-Werner Hansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boris Bodin. After 80 minutes Fåker IFK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zlatan Winger who took care of the corner kick. Zlatan Winger made a great header on Frosta Härad IF's corner, it was just that Fåker IFK's Sven-Åke Botvidsson managed to reach the ball for a save. 85 minutes in the game Lars Myr did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Olof Håkansson. In the 86th minute, Bengt-Åke Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lars Myr's late challenge caught a Frosta Härad IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Myr helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Frosta Härad IF booed when Fåker IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Myr didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hinko Beerman in the 94th minute of play forced Frosta Härad IF's goalkeeper Hans-Werner Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Frosta Härad IF's Axel Bäck got a free kick in the 94th minute. Fåker IFK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
