Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Runa United from getting a goal against them. After having played for 21 minutes, Harry Boumans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Runa United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Boumans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harry Boumans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Nyman having to interfere. Nils-Erik Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Brandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Brandin in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Boumans in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Nyman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute of the match Artetas artilleri got a corner. Runa United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valter Siöman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Valter Siöman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg did a great save. Artetas artilleri's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valter Siöman in the 43rd minute. The corner led Artetas artilleri's Valter Siöman to fire away a dangerous shot which Nils-Erik Åhlberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valentin Rydberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Nyman having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
