In the 9th minute Alf Möllgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Kellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Min Maja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Mellin came free, but Orvar Kullgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Alexander Mellin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orvar Kullgren, 1-0. Alexander Mellin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Orvar Kullgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Joakim Löfgren in the 31st minute really tested Orvar Kullgren's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Manchester City's Orvar Kullgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Manchester City from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Högberg in the 34th minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Orvar Kullgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orvar Kullgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Högberg in the 34th minute of the match. Orvar Kullgren was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Alexander Mellin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexander Mellin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Högberg couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Mellin was the one to do the kick off. Hammarstrand's Vidar Kellbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Hammarstrand from getting a goal against them. Orvar Kullgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Min Maja in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alexander Mellin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orvar Kullgren was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Orvar Kullgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Min Maja in the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Birger Larsfält ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orvar Kullgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With a little luck, Hammarstrand's Vidar Kellbom got control of the ball when Richard Edström tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Högberg in the 92nd minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Orvar Kullgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vidar Kellbom made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Richard Edström sent off a good shot on target. Orvar Kullgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Larsfält in the 97th minute of the match. Many of Manchester City's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Manchester City may have spent more time on the ball, but Hammarstrand were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
