The supporters of Ruda if booed when Södermalm FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Östen Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Hellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Bocklund in the 40th minute of play forced Ruda if's goalkeeper Michel Finman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, one of Ruda if:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ruda if. Kåre Bocklund shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Michel Finman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Nässén went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Nordgren in the 96th minute of play forced Ruda if's goalkeeper Michel Finman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Ruda if's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ruda if may have spent more time on the ball, but Södermalm FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
