Spectators: 7910 (Terracing: 5925, Seating: 1825, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hjalmar Backlund kicked off to start the match. Niklas Ekeberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Siöberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hjalmar Backlund in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Siöberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Swedish Nightmare's Hjalmar Backlund managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Celio Pujol in the 16 minute of the game. After 20 minutes The Swedish Nightmare's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alan Butler who took care of the corner kick. When Mattias Nordström came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Slagpåsarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Nordström couldn't finish the play. Hjalmar Backlund scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Siöberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kent Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Ekeberg in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mattias Nordström made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Hjalmar Backlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Siöberg was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Hjalmar Backlund took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Kent Siöberg to make any attempt to save it. When Hermínio de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the The Swedish Nightmare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio de Amaral couldn't finish the play. Edgar Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Butler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Slagpåsarna's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Backlund came free, but Kent Siöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Nordström in the 69th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Kent Siöberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Slagpåsarna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Swedish Nightmare:s goal. The goalkeeper, Kent Siöberg, was totally fooled by The Swedish Nightmare's Niklas Ekeberg, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kent Siöberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hjalmar Backlund went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Kent Siöberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hjalmar Backlund's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Niklas Ekeberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Swedish Nightmare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niklas Ekeberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hjalmar Backlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slagpåsarna's Kent Siöberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Slagpåsarna from getting a goal against them.
