If Brian Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. IFK Bovall's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Olle Åkerström scored to the left of an out of position Per Fredriksson, making the score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urban Söderqwist during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mellansels stationsgäng getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Urban Söderqwist hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, IFK Bovall's Omero Hernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jörgen Sjöman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match IFK Bovall got a corner. Mellansels stationsgäng's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jon Berglund ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jon Berglund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mellansels stationsgäng's Jörgen Sjöman did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Haström in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörgen Sjöman saved Mellansels stationsgäng from getting behind. After 29 minutes, Tony Haström made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mellansels stationsgäng's Jörgen Sjöman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jörgen Sjöman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Haström in the 32nd minute of play. IFK Bovall's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Olle Åkerström 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Mårten Gallberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Per Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Lindholm in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes IFK Bovall got a freekick which was hit by Omero Hernandez. A hard shot by Alf Blomberg from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Per Fredriksson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 46th minute, Tony Haström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Bovall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After the first half IFK Bovall were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Haström made a kick off. With an all-out effort, IFK Bovall's Jörgen Sjöman threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tony Haström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 61 played minutes IFK Bovall got a freekick which was hit by Jon Berglund. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olle Åkerström in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per Fredriksson saved IFK Bovall from getting behind. Per Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Åkerström in the 69th minute of the match. Per Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Åkerström in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match IFK Bovall got a corner. Mellansels stationsgäng's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jon Berglund ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jon Berglund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jörgen Sjöman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Brian Lindholm kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Per Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Åkerström in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Lindholm in the 84th minute of play forced IFK Bovall's goalkeeper Per Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Bovall's Per Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Hansson in the 92nd minute of play. Omero Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Brian Lindholm charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brian Lindholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Mellansels stationsgäng supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching IFK Bovall's performance. The match ended with a win for IFK Bovall.
