Alonzo Sheppard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Backlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Hjalmar Backlund notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of IFK Karskrona's Alonzo Sheppard. Alonzo Sheppard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Höganäs BK's Carl Ivarsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Patric Snäll in the 17 minute of the game. With an all-out effort, IFK Karskrona's Edgar Åström threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils Fågel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. IFK Karskrona's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norberto Veremundo in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Per-Erik Svensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Karskrona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Ekeberg in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Sheppard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Höganäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Cruz came free, but Edgar Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in IFK Karskrona fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Karskrona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hermínio de Amaral was slow to take the kick. During this time Höganäs BK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Höganäs BK's Hjalmar Backlund to fire away a dangerous shot which Alonzo Sheppard despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Höganäs BK got a corner. IFK Karskrona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hermínio de Amaral ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 36 played minutes Höganäs BK got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Nordgren. Alexander Nordgren was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Höganäs BK's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Hjalmar Backlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Karskrona's Alonzo Sheppard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Patric Snäll was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Karskrona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Höganäs BK the free kick. After 46 played minutes IFK Karskrona got a freekick which was hit by Patric Snäll. Alonzo Sheppard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Backlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorginho Cruz was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Per-Erik Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo Sheppard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hjalmar Backlund in the 59th minute. Adrián Huerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Sheppard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Nordgren in the 66th minute of play. Höganäs BK's Fredrik Wennerquist was substituted for Alexander Nordgren. After some careless play in the Höganäs BK defense, Jorginho Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Åström. The Höganäs BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Åström should have stopped the shot. Hjalmar Backlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Sheppard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hjalmar Backlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Hjalmar Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Alonzo Sheppard made a huge save. Hjalmar Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. IFK Karskrona's Alonzo Sheppard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save IFK Karskrona from getting a goal against them. Edgar Åström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Fågel in the 87th minute of the match. Hjalmar Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
