In the 3rd minute, Victor Nordstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörgen Sjöman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ulysses Donatello's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jörgen Sjöman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mellansels stationsgäng's Jörgen Sjöman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Mellansels stationsgäng from getting a goal against them. Öjeby IF's Victor Nordstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Victor Nordstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Wennerquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Gunnarsson in the 19th minute of the match. Victor Nordstedt had several of the Mellansels stationsgäng's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jörgen Sjöman as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mellansels stationsgäng's Jörgen Sjöman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Nordstedt in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute, Victor Nordstedt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jörgen Sjöman. The goal made the score 3-0. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ulysses Donatello sped through Mellansels stationsgäng's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jörgen Sjöman. Sven-Ove Eliasson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mellansels stationsgäng's goalkeeper Jörgen Sjöman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Mellansels stationsgäng's Jörgen Sjöman got control of the ball when Victor Nordstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulysses Donatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Öjeby IF's Victor Nordstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jörgen Sjöman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Donatello in the 55th minute of play forced Mellansels stationsgäng's goalkeeper Jörgen Sjöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Öjeby IF's Ulysses Donatello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jörgen Sjöman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Donatello in the 58th minute of play forced Mellansels stationsgäng's goalkeeper Jörgen Sjöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulysses Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Öjeby IF's Ulysses Donatello in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mellansels stationsgäng's goalie prevented a goal. After 75 minutes Mellansels stationsgäng's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthias Andreasson who took care of the corner kick. Öjeby IF were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Mellansels stationsgäng's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matthias Andreasson took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Ulysses Donatello drilling the ball in to score 7-0 behind Mellansels stationsgäng's goalkeeper. 80 minutes into the match, Mellansels stationsgäng's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Donatello came free, but Jörgen Sjöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Mellansels stationsgäng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Fernström to maneuver through the defense. Matthias Andreasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Öjeby IF's Ulysses Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jörgen Sjöman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Nordstedt went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Öjeby IF's Eliseu Coelho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by August Nordkvist, made in the 92nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulysses Donatello in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörgen Sjöman saved Mellansels stationsgäng from getting behind. There was no doubt that Öjeby IF were the better team. Öjeby IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
