Xkorpions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Ufki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Backlund in the 20th minute of play forced Xkorpions FC's goalkeeper Sergiu Cioacă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Xkorpions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Ekeberg came free, but Sergiu Cioacă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niklas Ekeberg in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergiu Cioacă saved Xkorpions FC from getting behind. Sven-Edvin Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edgar Åström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergiu Cioacă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Ekeberg in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Håkansson got free with Edgar Åström in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 minutes Höganäs BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rinaldo Martino who took care of the corner kick. 44 minutes into the match, Xkorpions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Ekeberg came free, but Sergiu Cioacă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Battal Ufki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Åström having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niklas Ekeberg made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Xkorpions FC's goalkeeper Sergiu Cioacă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergiu Cioacă made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Niklas Ekeberg sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Åström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Höganäs BK made a substitution. Fredrik Wennerquist replaced Alexander Nordgren. With a little luck, Xkorpions FC's Sergiu Cioacă got control of the ball when Hjalmar Backlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niklas Ekeberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Sergiu Cioacă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 91 played minutes Xkorpions FC got a freekick which was hit by Axel Broberg. In the 96th minute Hjalmar Backlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Cioacă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
