Edvin Ekblom dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Pruss in the 8th minute of play forced SteffosPojkar FF's goalkeeper Hubert Ahlfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Ahlfors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Samuelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute of the match Bäckeby Fotboll got a corner. SteffosPojkar FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Eriksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Bäckeby Fotboll's Zbyszek Pruss getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 13th minute Zbyszek Pruss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Ahlfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SteffosPojkar FF's Napoleon Glozor got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, SteffosPojkar FF's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Pruss came free, but Hubert Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, German Baumer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Maximilian Seemayer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulvis Kreigers. Bäckeby Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximilian Seemayer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, SteffosPojkar FF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Mickelsson came free, but Hubert Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Napoleon Glozor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hubert Ahlfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Samuelsson in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to SteffosPojkar FF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Håkan Apelkvist hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute Zbyszek Pruss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Ahlfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Johannes Mickelsson sped through SteffosPojkar FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hubert Ahlfors. Ulvis Kreigers was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carl Di Canio. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

SteffosPojkar FF made a substitution. Anton Hernström replaced Carl Di Canio. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Mickelsson made a kick off. Ulvis Kreigers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Glozor, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 66thth minute of the game German Baumer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bäckeby Fotboll's Ulvis Kreigers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leif Samuelsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hubert Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Mickelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Pruss got free with Hubert Ahlfors in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80thth minute of the game Leif Enegren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bäckeby Fotboll's Ulvis Kreigers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Leif Enegren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulvis Kreigers was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leif Enegren in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulvis Kreigers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When SteffosPojkar FF's Leif Enegren in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bäckeby Fotboll's goalie prevented a goal. Hubert Ahlfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Jansson in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koronis Corona in the 88th minute of play forced Bäckeby Fotboll's goalkeeper Ulvis Kreigers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leif Samuelsson's late challenge caught a SteffosPojkar FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Samuelsson helped the player get up and apologised. SteffosPojkar FF made a substitution. Philip Molander replaced Napoleon Glozor. Bäckeby Fotboll made a substitution. Patric Lövskog replaced Vilgot Fransson. The supporters of SteffosPojkar FF booed when Bäckeby Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. SteffosPojkar FF's Leif Enegren got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
