George Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Ahlerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Benett made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gerard Moreno. Dick Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but George Kristiansson made a huge save. Sten Melberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olle Biörkquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. George Kristiansson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Orvar Alfors. George Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Ahlerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Di Röe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orvar Alfors to make the kick off. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andréas Ahlerot in the 52nd minute of play. After 59 minutes Tuve fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herman Benett who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Di Röe's Herman Benett to fire away a dangerous shot which Olle Biörkquist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 62nd minute Dick Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Norberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Tuve fc. Orvar Alfors stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving George Kristiansson. 1-1. 71 minutes into the match, Tuve fc's goalkeeper Olle Biörkquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Arne Olsson.
