After a defensive mix-up in Football Club Kekke's zone, Igor Mazierz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Björklund came out of the goal and Igor Mazierz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ola Biörkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Apelqvist having to interfere. Diego Buonanno in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sixten Apelqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Kurt Rolandsson came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the AC Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Rolandsson couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes AC Milan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Krister Gustavsson who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Football Club Kekke's corner Krister Gustavsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sixten Apelqvist quite easily take care of the ball. Börje Björklund came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by AC Milan's Göran Allbom. But to his dismay, Göran Allbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Börje Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Allbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. AC Milan's Göran Allbom got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 27 in the game by Diego Buonanno from a close distance when the talented Sixten Apelqvist managed to make a qualified save. AC Milan's players were relieved. Börje Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Allbom in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Diego Buonanno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Football Club Kekke's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Buonanno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Apelqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florens á Neystabø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Football Club Kekke's Florens á Neystabø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
