Sparsör BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Skarkman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Protegéerna from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg got control of the ball when Eskil Asklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Sparsör BF's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Nyberg came free, but Arvid Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Sparsör BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Anundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Åberg having to interfere. If Petter Skarkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The Protegéerna players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
