With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Herbert Lipinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 15th minute of play forced TEAM Hawkeye's goalkeeper Knut Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Lipinski got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Golden Lions FC's Markus Svensson in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
