The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, David Bengtsson made a precise shot to the right of Knut Bergström. Alexander Schiavo made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sylwester Henryk immediately put the ball in play. Knut Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bålström, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Onurhan Çinuçin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Lipinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roger Bålström hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a little luck, TEAM Hawkeye's Knut Bergström got control of the ball when Wiktor Strömqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peace Home Street Boys's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Hedberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

TEAM Hawkeye made a substitution. Angel Recemill replaced Håkan Dahlberg. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Recemill was the one to do the kick off. After 59 played minutes TEAM Hawkeye got a freekick which was hit by Leo Ekström. In the 61st minute, Anísio Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Leo Ekström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Per-Oskar Hedberg. The goal made the score 1-1. TEAM Hawkeye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiktor Strömqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Knut Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onurhan Çinuçin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Peace Home Street Boys fans cheered their team off the field, for while TEAM Hawkeye had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
