Arnaldo Queirós received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benny Bur came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaldo Queirós slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Benny Bur was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Arnaldo Queirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo Queirós really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 16th minute Sledgehammer KO were awarded a corner. Doctor Sócrates went to the cornerflag to take it. Rune Fanström made a great header on Sledgehammer KO's corner, it was just that Hummerfiskarna's Holger Mattsson managed to reach the ball for a save. If Arnaldo Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Sledgehammer KO's goalkeeper Benny Bur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Queirós. After 32 played minutes Hummerfiskarna got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Lagerberg. After some careless play in the Hummerfiskarna defense, Leonard Åhman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holger Mattsson. The Hummerfiskarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holger Mattsson should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Hummerfiskarna's Arnaldo Queirós dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. In the 40thth minute of the game Marcus Allbäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hummerfiskarna's Holger Mattsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Allbäck in the 42nd minute of play forced Hummerfiskarna's goalkeeper Holger Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Queirós in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benny Bur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolli Bolla in the 53rd minute of play forced Sledgehammer KO's goalkeeper Benny Bur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benny Bur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolli Bolla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sledgehammer KO's Rune Fanström got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sledgehammer KO's Antonio Michael was substituted for Leonard Åhman. In the 60th minute, Rune Fanström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Nils-Åke Lagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Bur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Allbäck struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Holger Mattsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sledgehammer KO. 76 minutes into the match, Sledgehammer KO's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Söderberg came free, but Benny Bur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Åke Lagerberg hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Benny Bur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea De Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Allbäck came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Söderberg took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benny Bur. Benny Bur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Benny Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolli Bolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd match minute, Hummerfiskarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennvar Maradona to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hummerfiskarna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sledgehammer KO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
