Sledgehammer KO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doctor Sócrates was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benny Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Anıl Öveç, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Kent Lindberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Dick Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Michael in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Zine Bourchada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Erik Ek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sledgehammer KO's Benny Bur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dick Vedholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doctor Sócrates, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
