Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 77th minute of the match, Kent Lindberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Su Premetis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 82nd minute, Sven-Åke Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kent Lindberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Su Premetis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Lindberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Kent Lindberg scored 0-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Su Premetis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Vilhelm Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
