The referee ignored Zbrojów SA's protests and gave Zygmunt Fabiszak a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 69th minute of the match Aureliusz Sitko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Kossakowski skillfully saved the ball. Edward Kloczko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorio Lando's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Victorio Lando might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Kloczko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorio Lando ran back to his position shaking his head.
