After a defensive mix-up in KSG Torcida Zabrze's zone, Juliusz Rostow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witold Giec came out of the goal and Juliusz Rostow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th match minute, KSG Torcida Zabrze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Walkowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th match minute, Wilkupie SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Rostow to maneuver through the defense. Lucjan Kostrzewa charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Kostrzewa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 11 minutes into the game, one of KSG Torcida Zabrze:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 13th minute of the game, Wilkupie SA got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Walery Lepucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Karwowski having to interfere. The supporters of KSG Torcida Zabrze booed when Wilkupie SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Puch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Walery Lepucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KSG Torcida Zabrze's Witold Giec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save KSG Torcida Zabrze from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Konstanty Jaraczeski made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Wilkupie SA's goalkeeper Zenon Karwowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konstanty Jaraczeski. Stasio Bulkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konstanty Jaraczeski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Zenon Karwowski made a huge save. Konstanty Jaraczeski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Zenon Karwowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstanty Jaraczeski in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenon Karwowski saved Wilkupie SA from getting behind. KSG Torcida Zabrze were furious when Bogdan Bejrut was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Wilkupie SA. Marian Bartoszek stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Witold Giec. 2-0. When Walery Lepucki came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the KSG Torcida Zabrze fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walery Lepucki couldn't finish the play. Cezary Kendra's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zenon Karwowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th minute, KSG Torcida Zabrze's Walery Lepucki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Ryszard Ochabski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zenon Karwowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Walery Lepucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Wilkupie SA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
