Konrad Majkowski's late challenge caught a Śródmiescie Wronki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ślęza Wrocław's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Brak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Leon Brak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zdzislaw Kostka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leszek Odachowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Wawrzyniec Erland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Witkowski in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ślęza Wrocław's Fryderyk Gardocki got a free kick in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Emil Tscherner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Śródmiescie Wronki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Tscherner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Leszek Odachowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ślęza Wrocław's supporters rose to their feet, but Leszek Odachowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 80th minute, Emil Tscherner sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ślęza Wrocław's Wawrzyniec Erland didn't even have to move. In the 85th minute Radowit Witkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Erland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ślęza Wrocław defense, Radowit Witkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Erland. The Ślęza Wrocław fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Erland should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ślęza Wrocław getting a freekick after 93 minutes play.
