The audience was convinced that Patryk Soroka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Tyszka was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Grabianka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borys Liermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute Borys Liermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Piesciuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS Tęcza's Barnaba Olender got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Barnaba Olender off the ground. The supporters of Grabianka booed when KS Tęcza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Olender didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patryk Soroka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alfred Tyszka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patryk Soroka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witalis Treppa struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Alfred Tyszka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Tęcza. Patryk Soroka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alfred Tyszka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Tyszka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patryk Soroka's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patryk Soroka to make the kick off. The supporters of KS Tęcza booed when Grabianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Milan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dariusz Dziechciowski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Alfred Tyszka managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when KS Tęcza's Patryk Soroka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patryk Soroka got free with Alfred Tyszka in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Grabianka's Slawomir Jaszyna in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Tęcza's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Patryk Soroka got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After recieving a nice pass, Grabianka's Krzysztof Chmelyk tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Patryk Soroka came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfred Tyszka could save by the left post. The supporters of KS Tęcza booed when Grabianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Liermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS Tęcza's Ziemowit Piesciuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Liermann in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Slawomir Jaszyna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grabianka's supporters rose to their feet, but Slawomir Jaszyna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziemowit Piesciuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in KS Tęcza's zone, Borys Liermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziemowit Piesciuk came out of the goal and Borys Liermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patryk Soroka struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Alfred Tyszka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Tęcza. If Ksawery Glogowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grabianka's Slawomir Jaszyna got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Borys Liermann made a precise shot to the right of Ziemowit Piesciuk. KS Tęcza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 97th minute Borys Liermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Piesciuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The KS Tęcza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KS Tęcza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
