The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcin Gecionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Ryback in the 4th minute of the match. Marcin Gecionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Poreda in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Kowalewo Pomorskie's zone, Izydor Ryback stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcin Gecionis came out of the goal and Izydor Ryback tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Melchioland's Edmund Kojder got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Fedosz in the 20th minute of play forced FC Melchioland's goalkeeper Olaf Tworek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dawid Fedosz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Olaf Tworek was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. FC Melchioland's Izydor Ryback got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When FC Melchioland's Izydor Ryback in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 27th minute, Izydor Ryback got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Izydor Ryback managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Melchioland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Izydor Ryback was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Kowalewo Pomorskie's zone, Izydor Ryback stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcin Gecionis came out of the goal and Izydor Ryback tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Izydor Ryback might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcin Gecionis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izydor Ryback ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Izydor Ryback in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcin Gecionis saved Pogoń Kowalewo Pomorskie from getting behind. FC Melchioland's Olaf Tworek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Dudkowski in the 41st minute of play. Izydor Ryback might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcin Gecionis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izydor Ryback ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Pogoń Kowalewo Pomorskie getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Witomir Dudkowski hit a great ball. FC Melchioland's Izydor Ryback got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Izydor Ryback came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the FC Melchioland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izydor Ryback couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Izydor Ryback made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Melchioland defense, Witomir Dudkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Tworek. The FC Melchioland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Tworek should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute Ludomir Rawa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Tworek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dawid Fedosz's late challenge caught a FC Melchioland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dawid Fedosz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Pogoń Kowalewo Pomorskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Fedosz to maneuver through the defense. Izydor Ryback fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcin Gecionis having to interfere. Juliusz Bienienda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marcin Gecionis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Pogoń Kowalewo Pomorskie could leave the field as winners, despite FC Melchioland having more of the ball for most of the match.
