Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wojciech Niedziela made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd match minute, Legia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Kaczorowski to maneuver through the defense. Bogumil Klewinski scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Tscherner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bernard Chlapowski sped through Legia Warszawa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waldemar Tscherner. Bogumil Klewinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernard Chlapowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Tscherner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wierzchlesie's Tomasz Cisek got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Waldemar Tscherner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Bernard Chlapowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Tscherner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogumil Klewinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmund Kaczorowski charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Kaczorowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Legia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Kaczorowski. 28 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Klewinski came free, but Waldemar Tscherner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Chlapowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Waldemar Tscherner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Legia Warszawa's Edmund Kaczorowski got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 38 played minutes, Wierzchlesie's Grzegorz Wawro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waldemar Tscherner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wierzchlesie reached it. If Bogumil Klewinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Legia Warszawa booed when Wierzchlesie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Cisek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Legia Warszawa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wierzchlesie were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bogumil Klewinski to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Bernard Chlapowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Waldemar Tscherner however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Bogumil Klewinski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waldemar Tscherner. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Bogumil Klewinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Klewinski in the 62nd minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Waldemar Tscherner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Cisek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Waldemar Tscherner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bogumil Klewinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Waldemar Tscherner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Legia Warszawa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernard Chlapowski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 72 minutes into the game, Wojciech Niedziela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ludomil Mikulski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bogumil Klewinski struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Waldemar Tscherner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wierzchlesie. 80 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Klewinski came free, but Waldemar Tscherner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Chlapowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldemar Tscherner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Klewinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Bernard Chlapowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Waldemar Tscherner made a huge save. Waldemar Tscherner was a little too slow when Bogumil Klewinski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wierzchlesie eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
