Spectators: 7364 (Terracing: 5524, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) FC CERGOWA's Emil Rydzewski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of IMPERATORZY booed when FC CERGOWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Wiatrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fryderyk Chrzan got free with Boguslaw Barycz in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. IMPERATORZY's Ziemowit Smolarek shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Boguslaw Barycz but with some difficulty. Boguslaw Barycz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleksander Klawki in the 16th minute. When Kajetan Falk fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC CERGOWA's protests and gave Kajetan Falk a yellow card for diving instead. Kajetan Falk hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Aleksander Klawki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Klawki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Barycz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in IMPERATORZY's zone, Ziemowit Dawiec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobiasz Fujara came out of the goal and Ziemowit Dawiec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Emil Rydzewski made a precise shot to the right of Tobiasz Fujara. IMPERATORZY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Boguslaw Barycz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Bambas in the 55th minute of play. Boguslaw Barycz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Klawki, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Maksymilian Bambas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boguslaw Barycz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Ziemowit Dawiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match Ziemowit Smolarek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boguslaw Barycz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Boguslaw Barycz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksymilian Bambas in the 76th minute of play. Ziemowit Dawiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IMPERATORZY's Aleksander Klawki got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute of the match IMPERATORZY got a corner. FC CERGOWA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fryderyk Chrzan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Fryderyk Chrzan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC CERGOWA's Boguslaw Barycz did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Aleksander Klawki managed to get in a good position for a shot. IMPERATORZY's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Klawki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boguslaw Barycz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC CERGOWA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC CERGOWA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
