But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Witek couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Leon Witek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olgierd Gonsiewski. The goal made the score 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Izydor Gibowski in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damazy Pietrasz saved Fc Babia Góra from getting behind. Pankracy Nikodemski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Fc Babia Góra got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Szkaradek. The Fc Babia Góra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fc Babia Góra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
