In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kostuchna SSA's goalkeeper Wasyl Dobrzechowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Cyprian Gotfryd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes PIAST Bolków got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Skirzynski. Gustaw Czubski was slow to take the kick. During this time Kostuchna SSA's players had a chance to rest. Artur Skrzypiec made a great header on Kostuchna SSA's corner, it was just that PIAST Bolków's Lech Pliszka managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Szpakowski during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edward Murdza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lech Pliszka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Olaf Wodaszak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIAST Bolków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Wodaszak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Wodaszak made a kick off. If Jan Seliga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kostuchna SSA! Kostuchna SSA:s Wasyl Dobrzechowski showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Biegun:s penalty. Olaf Wodaszak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Wasyl Dobrzechowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Kostuchna SSA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan Seliga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The long shot by Teofil Puszynski in the 71st minute really tested Wasyl Dobrzechowski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 75 minutes into the game, Cyprian Gotfryd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kostuchna SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PIAST Bolków the free kick. In the 75th minute, Cyprian Gotfryd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Biegun, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jan Seliga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Dobrzechowski having to interfere. Kostuchna SSA's Wasyl Dobrzechowski hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-3! If Olaf Wodaszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Kostuchna SSA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan Seliga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. PIAST Bolków's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
