The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to BandaGamrat getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Zbyszek Borowski hit a great ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Cezary Gniech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RKS Motor Lublin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cezary Gniech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teofil Cetnar might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cyryl Arendarski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofil Cetnar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, BandaGamrat's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cezary Gniech fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Cezary Gniech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Cezary Gniech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RKS Motor Lublin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cezary Gniech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 minutes, Bartlomiej Lampa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BandaGamrat and the RKS Motor Lublin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bartlomiej Lampa kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Zenon Mierzwa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Zenon Mierzwa managed to get in a good position for a shot. RKS Motor Lublin's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Mierzwa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwo Sliwinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cezary Gniech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Iwo Sliwinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RKS Motor Lublin's Roch Mikulski got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roch Mikulski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwo Sliwinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Teofil Cetnar took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cyryl Arendarski. Cyryl Arendarski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 40th minute Teofil Cetnar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyryl Arendarski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofil Cetnar's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. If Teofil Cetnar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Gniech in the 55th minute of play forced BandaGamrat's goalkeeper Iwo Sliwinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cyryl Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Cetnar in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Roch Pruss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Roch Mikulski came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the RKS Motor Lublin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Mikulski couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Cezary Gniech had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwo Sliwinski. BandaGamrat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezary Gniech was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Iwo Sliwinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Gniech in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Zbigniew Tychy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cezary Gniech came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the RKS Motor Lublin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezary Gniech couldn't finish the play. If Cezary Gniech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roch Mikulski came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the RKS Motor Lublin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Mikulski couldn't finish the play. Roch Pruss kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of BandaGamrat booed when RKS Motor Lublin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Pruss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cezary Gniech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Kazimierz Labus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazimierz Labus hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Roch Pruss managed to get in a good position for a shot. RKS Motor Lublin's supporters rose to their feet, but Roch Pruss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwo Sliwinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zenon Mierzwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwo Sliwinski having to interfere. After 92 played minutes RKS Motor Lublin got a freekick which was hit by Roch Mikulski. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RKS Motor Lublin had played much better football throughout.
