La Messia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbyszko Palzewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, A.C. Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Palzewicz came free, but Wieslaw Badanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to A.C. Milan getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Przemyslaw Prokowski hit a great ball. With a little luck, La Messia's Olgierd Fiszer got control of the ball when Alfred Pliszka tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of A.C. Milan booed when La Messia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Pusiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Radomil Bierfass from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Olgierd Fiszer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mikolaj Nalaskowski sped through A.C. Milan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wieslaw Badanowski. After having played for 41 minutes, Zbyszko Palzewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Messia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbyszko Palzewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olgierd Fiszer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Kaider in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbyszko Palzewicz to make the kick off. Olgierd Fiszer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Pliszka in the 61st minute of the match. Radoslaw Kisiel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Waldemar Kaider scored 2-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olgierd Fiszer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, La Messia's Zachariasz Czekaj got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 85 played minutes A.C. Milan got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Molski. Mikolaj Nalaskowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A.C. Milan's Wieslaw Badanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Palzewicz in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.C. Milan fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Messia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
