Filip Zajac was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in LECHIA GDANSK - BRZOZOWA's zone, Miroslaw Jaroch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Zajac came out of the goal and Miroslaw Jaroch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobiasz Gdowik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Florian Siwy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Siwy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Szymon Narbut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruch Chorzów's Szymon Narbut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Gdowik in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Iwan Maurycy made a precise shot to the right of Filip Zajac. LECHIA GDANSK - BRZOZOWA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 48th minute Tobiasz Gdowik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Narbut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Szymon Narbut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tytus Gdowik's late challenge caught a LECHIA GDANSK - BRZOZOWA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tytus Gdowik helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Ruch Chorzów:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LECHIA GDANSK - BRZOZOWA:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Gdowik in the 88th minute of play forced Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Szymon Narbut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, LECHIA GDANSK - BRZOZOWA's goalkeeper Filip Zajac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iwan Maurycy. When the referee ended the match the LECHIA GDANSK - BRZOZOWA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
