Gronajny's Roman Walczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Marchlewicz in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, KanonierzyPoland's Zenon Limanowski got control of the ball when Eugeniusz Nowakowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tadeusz Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in KanonierzyPoland's zone, Eugeniusz Nowakowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dariusz Mentus in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Limanowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeusz Marchlewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Witold Debowy kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Eugeniusz Nowakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Limanowski having to interfere. Although Gronajny had been in control for most of the match, KanonierzyPoland still came away with the win.
