MK Tomasz's Walery Mierzwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogumil Molski in the 4th minute of play. Boguslaw Lepucki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 played minutes MK Tomasz got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Kiewra. 7 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Lepucki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walery Mierzwa. MK Tomasz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boguslaw Lepucki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Boguslaw Lepucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MK Tomasz's Janusz Kiewra got a free kick in the 12th minute. Artur Dubilas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 16 played minutes MK Tomasz got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Furgat. Karol Gardocki was a little too slow when Waldemar Pilarczyk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. After 25 played minutes Opacionka got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Tyszka. Radomir Tyszka missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 30 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Walery Mierzwa right hand side. Bogumil Molski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Walery Mierzwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boguslaw Lepucki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walery Mierzwa having to make a save. Boguslaw Lepucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Mierzwa having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bogumil Molski to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Opacionka booed when MK Tomasz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Solibieda didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 56 in the game by Boguslaw Lepucki from a close distance when the talented Walery Mierzwa managed to make a qualified save. MK Tomasz's players were relieved. MK Tomasz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Pilarczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walery Mierzwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Molski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Boguslaw Lepucki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Walery Mierzwa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, MK Tomasz's Piotr Ciupierdo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Boguslaw Lepucki in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 89th minute, Opacionka's Bogumil Molski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Walery Mierzwa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boguslaw Lepucki in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Bogumil Molski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Mierzwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Opacionka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
