Hugon Waselewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute Gerd Hornig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Waselewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rainer Hjortsig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Ludwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Gnichwitz SSA's Hugon Waselewicz got control of the ball when Gerd Hornig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gnichwitz SSA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zbyszek Budzynski ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 92nd minute, Gerd Hornig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nietoperze fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. With an all-out effort, Nietoperze's Hugon Waselewicz threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zbyszek Budzynski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Gerd Hornig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugon Waselewicz was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. Nietoperze's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
