The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aureliusz Skikiewicz hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in KS Grocholice's zone, Stanislaw Debowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Tamulewicz came out of the goal and Stanislaw Debowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th match minute, KS Grocholice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Betonowy to maneuver through the defense. KS Grocholice's Walery Tamulewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Benvenuto in the 5th minute of play. Ludomil Jaraczeski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Anssi Hotakainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to KS Grocholice getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Herbert Betonowy hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Gargasz in the 10th minute of play forced KS Grocholice's goalkeeper Walery Tamulewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Cosimo Benvenuto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walery Tamulewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Anssi Hotakainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deon Chegwyn in the 19th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 22nd minute when Korneliusz Majczyk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, KS Grocholice's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Gargasz came free, but Walery Tamulewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KS Grocholice's Walery Tamulewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Wierzbicki in the 28th minute of play. Walery Tamulewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Wierzbicki in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Gargasz in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walery Tamulewicz saved KS Grocholice from getting behind. Anssi Hotakainen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Dyczkowski in the 34th minute. A collision led to KS Wierna Rzeka getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Pawel Wierzbicki hit a great ball. Mieszko Prosowski hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Maciej Gargasz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Wierna Rzeka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Walery Tamulewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Majczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, KS Wierna Rzeka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Teofil Giejda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anssi Hotakainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pawel Wierzbicki scored 0-4 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walery Tamulewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amiran Bitsadze to strike the kick off in the second half. Anssi Hotakainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deon Chegwyn in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of KS Wierna Rzeka booed when KS Grocholice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Prosowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, KS Wierna Rzeka's Walery Tamulewicz threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cosimo Benvenuto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th minute, Czeslaw Podowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Norbert Dyczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Pawel Wierzbicki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walery Tamulewicz. That made the score 0-5 in the 61 minute of play. Maciej Gargasz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Walery Tamulewicz firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Benvenuto in the 71st minute of play forced KS Grocholice's goalkeeper Walery Tamulewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walery Tamulewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Benvenuto in the 75th minute of play. Walery Tamulewicz came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Wierna Rzeka's Pawel Wierzbicki. But to his dismay, Pawel Wierzbicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Anssi Hotakainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amiran Bitsadze in the 80th minute of play. Korneliusz Majczyks short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Walery Tamulewicz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute KS Wierna Rzeka were awarded a corner. Stanislaw Debowski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led KS Wierna Rzeka's Walery Mnich to fire away a dangerous shot which Walery Tamulewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Anssi Hotakainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amiran Bitsadze in the 91st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Korneliusz Majczyk put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of KS Wierna Rzeka:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KS Grocholice:s goal. The referee gave KS Grocholice a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ludomil Jaraczeski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KS Wierna Rzeka's Anssi Hotakainen. 1-7. After 97 played minutes KS Wierna Rzeka got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Robak. KS Grocholice's Walery Tamulewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Wierzbicki in the 101st minute of play. KS Wierna Rzeka played a much better game than KS Grocholice and deserved their victory. The KS Grocholice players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
