Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Szymon Rutkowski started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Arsenal booed when Wydrowice SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Basinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ni Qian Hai was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Armando Vidal made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Giotis Kourmouzis sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th minute, Arsenal's Cezary Ostrowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Vidal. Armando Vidal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Arsenal's Fryderyk Marchefka seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fryderyk Marchefka the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arsenal protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fryderyk Marchefka had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arsenal! Ryszard Wnukowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Falk in the 17th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsenal's Cezary Ostrowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Vidal. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Cezary Ostrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cezary Ostrowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cezary Ostrowski struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Armando Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Cezary Ostrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Ostrowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Vidal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wydrowice SA's zone, Cezary Ostrowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Vidal came out of the goal and Cezary Ostrowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Cezary Ostrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Arsenal got a corner. Wydrowice SA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ni Qian Hai ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dennis Falk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ryszard Wnukowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Cezary Ostrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Ostrowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cezary Ostrowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezary Ostrowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Wydrowice SA got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Sikola. Cezary Ostrowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Vidal having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Arsenal had played much better football throughout.
