The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goalkeeper Olgierd Zalipski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beniamin Betonowy. Olgierd Zalipski was a little too slow when Wit Dziechciowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 19 minutes, Florian Gongolewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sobiehen and the WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Sobiehen got a freekick which was hit by Florian Gongolewicz. Florian Gongolewicz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Wit Dziechciowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sobiehen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Marcin Kasperowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignacy Pyrzyce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcin Kasperowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Olgierd Zalipski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Betonowy in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Stanislaw Hajduk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olgierd Zalipski. The goal made the score 5-0. Sobiehen's Beniamin Betonowy got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Alcântara came free, but Olgierd Zalipski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olgierd Zalipski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beniamin Betonowy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanislaw Hajduk kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Olgierd Zalipski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Hajduk in the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Gualter Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Zalipski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olgierd Zalipski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Hajduk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 68 minutes, Ignacy Marut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobiehen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacy Marut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cezary Fleischer lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Sobiehen made a substitution. Edgar Galaska replaced Fabian Terasek. 74 minutes into the game, one of WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sobiehen a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ignacy Marut, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Olgierd Zalipski. 8-0. In the 81st minute Edmund Panikowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Zalipski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Sobiehen's Przemyslaw Lanczak made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olgierd Zalipski was left in no man's land by his defense there! WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Olgierd Zalipski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Alcântara in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ defense, Gualter Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olgierd Zalipski. The WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olgierd Zalipski should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Hajduk in the 97th minute of play forced WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goalkeeper Olgierd Zalipski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olgierd Zalipski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Panikowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sobiehen fully deserved thier win.
