Janusz Cytrynski came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zbigniew Laba could save by the left post. In the 9th match minute, Wataha Świętokrzyska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Zukowski to maneuver through the defense. Wataha Świętokrzyska's Sylwester Szarmach got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mieszko Lichorobiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leszek Kilarski took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Moczkiewicz. Lucjan Moczkiewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Lucjan Moczkiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barnaba Zukowski's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When Zdzislaw Maruda got free in front of the goal in the 33rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Zbigniew Laba was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tomasz Mindykowski kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leszek Kilarski in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Moczkiewicz saved Wisła Maciejowice from getting behind. After some careless play in the Wisła Maciejowice defense, Barnaba Zukowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Moczkiewicz. The Wisła Maciejowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Moczkiewicz should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Mieszko Lichorobiec notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Wisła Maciejowice's Lucjan Moczkiewicz. Lucjan Moczkiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, Sylwester Szarmach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucjan Moczkiewicz. Wisła Maciejowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylwester Szarmach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After the first half Wataha Świętokrzyska were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Leszek Kilarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lucjan Moczkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wisła Maciejowice's Lucjan Moczkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Wisła Maciejowice from getting a goal against them. Sylwester Szarmach in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucjan Moczkiewicz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zbigniew Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Maruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Wataha Świętokrzyska fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Wataha Świętokrzyska's Lucjan Tworek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sylwester Szarmach struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lucjan Moczkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wataha Świętokrzyska. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wisła Maciejowice's goalkeeper Lucjan Moczkiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Wataha Świętokrzyska's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Ryback came free, but Zbigniew Laba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match, Lucjan Tworek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucjan Moczkiewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zdzislaw Maruda's late challenge caught a Wataha Świętokrzyska's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zdzislaw Maruda helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Wisła Maciejowice got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Maruda. The crowd rose to their feet as Wataha Świętokrzyska's Barnaba Zukowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucjan Moczkiewicz. That made the score 0-12 after 92 minutes of play. In the 97th minute, Leszek Kilarski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
