The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Suwadów SSA's Miroslaw Pochorylo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Lerych in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Aleksander Zurawski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonia Kozierów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Zurawski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Moryl in the 10th minute of play forced Suwadów SSA's goalkeeper Miroslaw Pochorylo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Suwadów SSA's zone, Leonard Moryl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Pochorylo came out of the goal and Leonard Moryl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th match minute, Polonia Kozierów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafal Przybyciel to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Aleksander Zurawski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miroslaw Pochorylo. Aleksander Zurawski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 25th minute Leonard Moryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslaw Pochorylo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Zurawski got free with Miroslaw Pochorylo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27thth minute of the game Aleksander Zurawski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suwadów SSA's Miroslaw Pochorylo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Suwadów SSA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zbyszko Jarosz was slow to take the kick. During this time Polonia Kozierów's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the Polonia Kozierów defense, Marcin Pietrowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Milcho Drashkov. The Polonia Kozierów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Milcho Drashkov should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Suwadów SSA's goalkeeper Miroslaw Pochorylo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Moryl. In the 38th minute, Leonard Moryl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milcho Drashkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Moryl in the 43rd minute of play forced Suwadów SSA's goalkeeper Miroslaw Pochorylo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Pietrowski in the 76th minute of play forced Polonia Kozierów's goalkeeper Milcho Drashkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Suwadów SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Lerych came free, but Miroslaw Pochorylo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zbyszko Jarosz fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polonia Kozierów's protests and gave Zbyszko Jarosz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Polonia Kozierów's Zbyszko Jarosz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Wincenty Pyrzyce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Milcho Drashkov. With 88 minutes on the clock, Radomil Treppa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Polonia Kozierów! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Suwadów SSA. Wincenty Pyrzyce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Milcho Drashkov. 2-3. In the 93rd minute, Zbyszko Jarosz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marcin Pietrowski came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Suwadów SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcin Pietrowski couldn't finish the play. If Alexandre Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suwadów SSA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
