Vuyani Thokozani was slow to take the kick. During this time G.K.S.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led G.K.S.'s Vuyani Thokozani to fire away a dangerous shot which Milosz Malewicki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Rakoski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ksawery Bochinski struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Milosz Malewicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G.K.S.. If Danilo Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Merski in the 93rd minute of play forced Górnik Zabrze's goalkeeper Milosz Malewicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97thth minute of the game Marty Hayles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G.K.S.'s Adão Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. G.K.S.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
